Known by many as the Switzerland of Maine, Jackman is located at about the midway point of the Kennebec Chaudiere International Scenic Corridor in Somerset County, which stretches approximately 230 miles from Bath Maine to Quebec, Canada. The route follows and includes the Old Canada Road Scenic Byway along Route 201 North to 173 in Quebec through the Kennebec and Chaudiere valleys.

Situated on the shores of Big Woods Lake, Jackman provides access to over 60 lakes, ponds and streams and outdoor adventure abounds at every turn.
